Parent-Leader Planning Meeting

Our Cubmaster sent the following e-mail concerning our first planning meeting of the new season:

Hello folks, its time for school to start for another year. We are going to have a planning night on Monday August 18th at 6pm at the Rec center. If the Rec center is being used we will move to scout hall at City hall. we will be going through the calender for pack meetings, setting up back to school night and discussing needs of the Den leaders. We will address any training that den leaders need and any Dens that need leaders as well. All leaders and or parents are welcome to attend, so if you see a Cubscout parent, invite them to come along. We should be ok with the school open house as it is on Tuesday. If there are any questions email me or call me on my cell and I look forward to seeing hopefully as many of you as possible. Thanks. John.

If you did not receive the e-mail, we may not have your correct e-mail address on file. Please contact John, Dan, or Mary to update your e-mail address. Thank you.

Welcome to the Blog!

Some of you coming to the website will notice something different. The main page is now a blog. I thought this would make it easier to keep updated and allow for better archiving of what is going on.

Some things are still the same. Our den pages are still up and hosted at the old site. You can see them by clicking on the rank badges to the side. I hope to get those updated once we get started again and our great den leaders start sending me new information.

I hope you like the change. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to comment here (you can do that now that its a blog), send me an e-mail, or give me a call.

I look forward to seeing you all again real soon as we get set for another year of Cub Scouting!

Dan
